The OIST community is defined by collaboration and cooperation. Each faculty member, student, and administrator actively supports one another. Within our community, we have the opportunity to form supportive relationships based on trust, shared values and common experiences. As a parent, one of the most important communities you will ever choose is your child’s school and that is why at OIST, we give it such high importance. Our school community is diverse with many nationalities, cultures, and languages. We encourage parents to get involved in a variety of ways—helping in classrooms, serving on committees, volunteering for events, or sharing their expertise. The Parent members of our community are one of the foundations of our school.
